The qualifications to serve as the District Vice President are clear:
Must have served as President of your primary association within the last 5 years AND
must have served on a Florida Realtors or NAR Committee.
Addie is been properly vetted by the FR Nominating Committee, has been declared a fully qualified candidate who has rightfully earned the opportunity to run for election as the District 7 Vice President.

Addie won't just get the job done. She is committed to get the job done right, on time, and work to exceed the expectations and needs of the District members.
Addie Owens, is a CRS designee, the current President of RRC Florida, and Principal Broker-Owner of Touchstone Real Estate Group, Inc, the umbrella company for a full service Residential and Commercial Brokerage in addition to a Real Estate School. She's been driven for success, and forward motion in since she began her real estate career as an appraiser in 2005.
Now, as a licensed Instructor and school owner, Addie has put her passion for all things Real Estate into promoting and improving the Real Estate education environment while still operating a full-time brokerage. In the volunteer world, she has served as Director for the National Association of Realtors®, Florida Realtors® and locally at the Realtors® Association of Lake and Sumter Counties where she was the 2020 President of the Board. She is also serves as a Director member of the Beverly Carter Foundation. Her national leadership experience has helped her become a robustly connected leader, working with other industry leaders across the country.
Her committee positions have included NAR Professional Development Committee, Florida Realtors Forms Committee, Member Engagement Committee, and Realtor Party Member Involvement Committee as well as the Professional Development Committee. Also, as an active member of the Women's Council of Realtors, she serves on the Florida Leadership Development Panel identifying upcoming leaders. and as the Co-Chair of the LEAP program.
At RRC, Addie has participated on the Career Paths and Elections Process President’s Advisory Panels has served as the Co-Chair of RRC Education Masterminds and is a member of the National Board of Directors. In her local community, Addie founded the Touchstone Community First Foundation, focused solely on giving back financially to organizations that support the overall health of residents.
She also currently serves as an appointed member of the Lake County Board of Adjustments, hearing and deliberating on Lake County variance requests.
At home, Addie spends her free time devoted to family and enjoying the outdoors at the beach or on the lake in a boat. She and her husband enjoy hiking in our National Parks, and anywhere else Addie can find a hill or rocks to climb. On their days off (ok, so not really "off", but away from the office) they can usually be found enjoying the sunshine somewhere around the country, along with their newest addition, Charlie the Wonder Labrador, AKA #HurricaneCharlie. She is a “Blue-Star Mom” of an active-duty-sailor and a graduate of the Aveda Institute in Denver, Colorado. She is a "Merma" to her grandson and is blessed with the most fabulous daughter-in-law.
When asked why she wants to serve as the Florida Realtors District 7 Vice President she has a simple but impactful answer. "I serve because I care. I care about our members, our customers, and the future of our industry. My career as a Realtor has shaped me as a woman, and it's my honor to reinvest my time, talents and resources to help future generations who come behind me. If I leave a legacy, let it be one of service to something greater than self."
